So weak after chemo
Hiya all - diagnosed with cancer on 18th November 2011. Since then it has spread in the lymphatic system to the chest and neck. Saw oncologist for the first time on January 13th, he explained why chemo is my only option but said am far too weak to stand it given I have Feeling weakness or fatigue is common in people with cancer, but it's different for each person. Feeling weak is often one part of having fatigue. It's important to remember that fatigue might get better after treatment ends for some, but last many months to years after treatment for others. Describing and managing weakness Nine days ago I finished my chemo. 4 rounds of A/C and 12 of Taxol. I expected to start feeling better since I didn't have chemo this week but I feel so weak. My legs feel like lead and I can only do a little and have to sit down and rest. Can some of you ladies weigh in on how long after chemo did you begin to physically feel better.
